Pizza and Movie/Game Night

Every Friday night we make homemade pizza and have either movie or game night. We have a membership (which was free for the first 2 weeks) with Netflix. It's $8.99/month which allows us to borrow 1 movie at a time. We decide on the movie by Wednesday or we keep a running list in our "queue". Our movie is shipped the next day and we receive it Friday just in time for movie night. We watch the movie and return it in the envelope that Netflix provides without paying postage. We have unlimited movies delivered to us every month. As soon as they receive the movie back (usually the day after it's mailed), they ship the next movie that you have in your queue.

Some Friday nights we just play board games like Life, Monopoly, Scrabble, UpWords, Yahtzee, Candyland (for the little one), etc.

For our pizza (for a family of 5), I buy 4 Pillsbury pizza dough ($2.08 @ the Wal-Mart Supercenter), 1 bag of shredded mozzerella ($1.97 @ Wal-Mart) and 1 jar of Ragu pizza sauce ($1.34 per jar @ Wal-Mart). I always have coupons for the Pillsbury Pizza dough which saves even more money and Wal-Mart is one of the few stores in my area that accepts online coupons (which I print on my used computer paper).

Family night for 5 end up costing under $12.
